Sugar and olive oil

  • The fine grains of sugar are gentle enough to be used on facial skin, but effective enough to remove dead skin cells, clear impurities, and leave your skin smooth and bright. 
  • Olive oil is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants. It can deeply moisturise and nourish the skin, and its anti-inflammatory properties can help calm irritated skin. 

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Instructions

  • Mix the ingredients in a clean bowl until the mixture has a paste-like consistency.
  • Take a small amount of the mixture and apply on clean, damp skin. 
  • Gently massage the scrub onto your skin in circular motions, for 1-2 minutes. 
  • Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat with a clean towel. 
  • Apply a hydrating moisturiser or serum. 
  • Don’t use it more often than twice a week to avoid irritation. 

Honey and oatmeal

  • Gently massage in circular motions for 1-2 minutes. You can leave it on for 5-10 minutes to allow the honey nourish the skin.
  • Rinse off with lukewarm water, and pat dry with a clean towel.
  • Apply a hydrating moisturiser or serum. 
  • Safe to be used twice per week.

  • Apply the mixture on clean, damp face, using gentle circular motions for 1-2 minutes.
  • You can leave it on for additional 5 minutes as a mask.
  • Rinse off with lukewarm water. 
  • Follow-up with your skincare routine if necessary.
