The makeup is capable of transforming your appearance and boost your confidence. However, with that many makeup products flooding the market, it can be really overwhelming to understand how to achieve a flawless look. Whether you are a beginner or a makeup enthusiast, read through the article to discover the order which helps you achieve the perfect look every time.

1. Start by cleansing your face

  • Face cleansers help remove impurities such as dust, bacteria, and sweat.
  • Making sure your face is clean and smooth will help products go on evenly.

2. Apply moisturiser or facial serum

  • If you are planning a daytime makeup, you can apply a product which contains SPF.
  • Ensure you apply the product evenly on your whole face.
  • After this step you should wait 10-15 minutes before applying the makeup, this will ensure full absorption.

3. Apply primer

  • If you are planning to use a BB cream instead of foundation, you can avoid this step.
  • The primer will help your makeup look smooth and last longer.

4. Apply foundation

  • It’s very important to apply the shade which matches your skin tone.
  • Blend the foundation on your skin with a sponge or foundation brush.

5. Apply concealer

  • Choose a concealer which is one or two shades lighter than your foundation.
  • Apply the concealer with a specifically designed brush or a damp sponge.

9. Do your brows

  • Comb your brows before applying the products.
  • It’s very important to pick the product shade that suits you best, for example if you have blonde hair, opt for a lighter shade.

10. Apply lip liner and lipstick

  • Depending on your makeup style, there are different ways you can apply the products.
  • Try not to over-line too much, it might look good in photos but very visible in reality.

11. Apply mascara

  • If your lashes stick together, use a clean wand and carefully brush them.

12. Apply setting spray and/or setting powder

  • This step is necessary only if you want your makeup to last from day to night.
